GOLF - The Incline Village Championship and Mountain Golf Courses are Open Until October.

Golf at Lake Tahoe is a wonderful and unique experience. Your ball flies farther at high altitude, there are none of the urban noises to distract you, and the scenery is magnificent even on the least expensive golf courses at Lake Tahoe.

Incline Village has two great golf courses and both were designed by the world famous Robert Trent Jones.
The par 72 Championship Golf Course was completely renovated in 2003 and boasts a beautiful new clubhouse, practice area with a lake view and several target greens, and separate putting and chipping greens. 
This course is usually open from May to October - weather and snow permitting.

The par 58 Mountain Course is considered to be one of the finest layouts of any Executive style course.  Every hole is different and with all of the water hazards, sand traps and undulating topography, it will challenge even the best players. The Mountain Course is normally open from late May through early October.

The fees for both courses include an electric cart.  Twilight discount rates may be available, check with the Pro Shop. 

If you want to play golf in the fall and winter months, there are several golf courses open all year in Reno and Carson City.  It tends to be quite hot in the summer time in Reno and Carson as compared to Lake Tahoe, so it is better to play golf early in the day if possible if you do decide to play down in the desert areas.

The nicest golf course in the South Lake Tahoe / Stateline area.  Expensive, but memorable in every respect.
