HORSEBACK RIDING

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trail rider, there are lots of choices for going horseback riding at Lake Tahoe.  If you have your own horses and trailer, you can park along the Mt. Rose Highway and explore some beautiful scenery on and off the Tahoe Rim Trail.  Renting horses and taking riding lessons are easy and widely available.

Some stables have age and / or weight requirements and restrictions.  Please call ahead and make reservations.
