August finished with a bang as 15 properties went into escrow during the past 7 days. There was a good action across the board with the properties going under contract ranging from $169,500 to $2,150,000. Condos dominated the sales activity making up 10 of the 15 accepted offers.

There were approximately 2 dozen price reductions on the Incline Village MLS last week. This is typical right before the big Labor Day weekend. Many sellers will do a price reduction right before the three-day holiday in an effort to attract interest. We anticipate that Incline Village real estate sales will remain relatively strong into autumn. Barring an unusually heavy early snowfall there shouldn’t be anything to deter buyers and sellers from making deals the next 2 to 3 months.
