With only an occasional thunderstorm during the past week it’s been beautiful up at Lake Tahoe! There was nothing to deter buyers and sellers resulting in another strong week for the Incline Village real estate market. 12 properties went into escrow along with 14 new listings on the Incline Village MLS. 20 closed escrows and 8 price reductions kept everyone looking at their computer screen trying to stay on top of the action.
The remodeling work has been completed at 600 Rockrose Court! The kitchen was beautifully redone with slab granite counters, stainless steel appliances and sink, plus refinished cabinets. Exterior painting and staining were completed a week ago giving the outside a fresh new look! This 3BR, 2.5 bath, 2020 sq. ft. home with mountain views, peeks of the lake and an 800 sq. ft. wraparound deck is priced at $835,000.

It was a bit surprising to see 14 new listings on the Incline Village real estate scene as we enter the 1st week of August. Normally sales activity continues to move along at a rapid pace. But, new listings don’t often hit double digits this time of year.
Some people continue to whine about a lack of inventory. But there are a lot of very nice properties for sale in our community. We are intimately familiar with the inventory and have no problem finding quality houses and condos for buyers in all price ranges.
If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for please contact us directly. Every year we help buyers find properties that are not listed for sale on the MLS. We are continually networking with other agents to find pocket listings or get the jump on upcoming listings.
Summarizing the action on the Incline Village real estate scene, the properties going into escrow ranged in price from $298,000 up to nearly $3.5 million. It was a good mix of houses and condos. In 2017 there has been solid activity in all price ranges and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.
