Robust is the best word we can use to describe the Incline Village real estate market. The week after Thanksgiving is typically a rather quiet time on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Everyone has just finished up a festive holiday weekend. And most of the ski resorts that are open have fairly limited operations.
So, it was a bit surprising to see 9 properties go into escrow on the Incline Village MLS last week. Condos once again dominated the action.. We saw 5 condos, 3 houses and one multi-unit investment property get accepted offers.. Price for the properties getting accepted offers ranged from $435,000 all the way up to $2,350,000.
Along with 9 closed escrows, the title companies were working overtime on Incline Village real estate deals as evidenced by the e-mails we got from then on Friday night and Saturday. Sabrina represented the buyer of 335 Ski Way – #299 Burgundy Hill. This one bedroom, 2 bath, 1064 square-foot condo sold for $315,000.

Sales of Incline Village real estate have been a bit stronger than one would normally anticipate for this time of year. We attribute a lot of this to the strong economy in Northern California and also the growth in northern Nevada overall. Vacation home sales tend to show strength when the primary geographic markets that feed Lake Tahoe are doing well economically. Barring some unforeseen change in the economy, we project that Incline Village real estate sales in 2018 will continue at a relatively good pace.
