WHY HAVE DON KANARE AS YOUR REAL ESTATE AGENT?

With over 250 licensed real estate agents in Incline Village, what makes me different from all the others?  Don’t we all have access to the same MLS information?  Well, that’s about the only thing that’s the same between me and the other agents here in the village.  For the details as to what I do differently and how that can benefit you, please read on.

Since I come from a background in business consulting (16+ years), my philosophy in real estate sales is to act like a personal consultant for each of my clients.  No two people have the same needs or desires, so if you are a buyer, I spend a great deal of time learning about what you want and how I can help you find the most suitable property.  If you are selling your property, I make an effort to educate myself on your personal goals concerning the sale and maintain regular and ongoing communication with you during the listing phase and up through and even after the close of escrow.

My primary focus is to help you with 6 key issues: Counseling the Consumer, Negotiating the Contract, Managing the Transaction, Marketing, Acquiring, Managing and Using Information, Thinking Strategically.

Personal service is another factor that differentiates me from the typical agent.  I am available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day except when I am out of town on vacation.  I believe that the only way to provide top notch service to my clients is to make sure that I can personally be reached via cell phone and e-mail when you need my help.  I take great pride in making sure that every detail of each transaction is handled promptly and efficiently.

For example, I personally inspect each property prior to the close of escrow and if the cleaning is less than perfect I hire a housekeeper at my own expense to get the job done right.  None of my clients will ever move into or out of a property in less than pristine condition.

Responsibility is a huge issue in the real estate business. If a mistake occurs, I don’t believe in pointing fingers and blaming others, I step in and correct the problem.  We deal with very big numbers everyday in our local market and being totally responsible for every step of the transaction is a hallmark of my personal service philosophy.
