KRISTIE WELLS

A Bay Area native, Kristie spent her childhood winters skiing the Sierra Nevada and summers exploring the Lake Tahoe region. What began as a lifelong connection to the mountains eventually became a long-held dream realized - trading San Francisco skyscrapers for Jeffrey Pines and calling Incline Village home. Kristie is passionate about helping others realize their own Tahoe dream - whether that means finding a primary residence, a second home, or a smart long-term investment in the area.

Since relocating, Kristie has deeply immersed herself in the local community through hands-on involvement, leadership, and storytelling. She volunteers with school reading programs, helps prepare middle-school students for their first summer jobs, supports Meals on Wheels, and writes regularly for IVCBA’s Live.Work.Play Magazine. She is a graduate of the Washoe Tahoe Academy and serves as an engaged board member and past president of Incliners - IVGID’s longest-running active adult social program - where she grew membership by more than 25% in a single year through thoughtful programming and community outreach.
In addition to her real estate work, Kristie is a project manager for a local general contractor, giving her practical, on-the-ground experience with remodels, renovations, and rebuilds. This perspective is invaluable for buyers assessing potential and for sellers preparing their homes for market. She understands how Tahoe homes live, age, and evolve - and she brings a steady, informed approach to guiding clients through both the emotional and logistical aspects of homeownership.
Kristie believes a home’s true value isn’t measured by square footage or price alone, but by how it connects you to the Tahoe lifestyle. She pairs her hyper-local knowledge with decades of experience in digital marketing, communications, and brand building to showcase properties thoughtfully and strategically, while helping buyers and sellers navigate the market with confidence and clarity.
When she’s not working with clients or giving back to the community, Kristie is out enjoying everything that makes Tahoe special - from skiing and hiking local trails to swimming in the lake, cooking and entertaining friends, or working on her golf game. She doesn’t just sell the Tahoe lifestyle, she lives it every day and loves helping others find their own connection to this remarkable place.
