Late July in Tahoe reveals cooler afternoons and cloudy skies with a chance of showers. The rain is welcome this time of year, as it settles our dusty trails for a smooth and silky ride. The scent of rain and pine with the damp earth fills the air, and bike tires are more apt to grip a “buttery” single track. It’s easy to become one with nature after a Tahoe rain storm in late summer.

Their aim is to build trails that allow for two-way flow, making rides safer and more enjoyable. This project will include new connector points and sturdy creek crossings, all designed to support both bikers and hikers. By offering more trail options, outdoor enthusiasts can spread out, reducing crowding in any one spot.
