Incline Village & Crystal Bay Real Estate Update 12/11/2024: Trending Up in Closings and Escrows

With multiple winter storm warnings in effect over the next few days as the holidays get closer you can feel the stoke level rising here in Tahoe. Will we have a white Christmas?


We will be skiing for sure! The temperatures stayed low delivering great conditions for the early season. New snow will create even more snowpack and lead to more open runs. We are also seeing a cooling of prices in our market. 


The market trend in Incline Village took a healthy uptick this week with 9 successful closings and a slightly higher range in escrow. These numbers show the market is consistent and at times moving rapidly.  A cute cabin on Carinthia in Tyrolian Village, near Diamond Peak Ski Resort, went into escrow after only one week on the MLS.


There are still opportunities to make your holiday dreams come true through the purchase of a vacation or forever home. Two beautiful homes landed on the MLS this week, 594 Ponderosa and 1056 Lakeshore. 


594 Ponderosa borders Second Creek, which runs year-round and carries a sleek modern look tucked into the mountain forest.  It sits elegantly on over half an acre and has spacious surroundings, providing privacy among the pines.


1056 Lakeshore is one of the larger homes in the family-friendly, low-elevation Mill Creek subdivision.  Vaulted living spaces provide an environment filled with natural light.  High-end finishes found throughout the home create true luxury living in the mountains.


There remains a steady interest in selling and buying.  We saw  3 new listings, zero properties went into contract, 5 price adjustments, and a whopping 9 successful closings.
