Incline Village Real Estate Update: May 13

The mood is a bit subdued for the RE/MAX Northlake Incline Village real estate people this weekend. It’s not your typical Mother’s Day this year with social distancing being the norm. Also, Sunday, May 10 is the 14th anniversary of the passing of Don’s beloved companion Spumoni. Before we delve into this week’s blog entry please take a moment to visit Spumoni’s webpage and honor his memory.

It was a pretty typical spring time week for the Incline Village real estate market. There were nine new listings, five price changes, four properties went into escrow and three places closed escrow. The beautiful spring weather has been encouraging buyers to shop for property. And it looks like the nice weather will continue for the most part during the coming week.

There is one new listing on the Incline Village MLS that will be of great interest to low elevation condo buyers. 866 Northwood Blvd. – #33 Northwood Estates boasts three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, over 1600 ft.² of living space and you get a dedicated carport near the unit. Situated near the rear of the complex, this quiet location still puts you only a couple of blocks from the center of town.

All of the rooms are a nice size and the kitchen provides ample counter space. The natural gas hydronic heating system is a real plus during those chilly Tahoe winters. The asking price of $490,000 makes this one worth a look.
