We need to open this week’s Incline Village real estate blog with a personal note. When Don first started writing this weekly blog over 15 years ago we were in the middle of the pre-recession real estate boom. So much has happened over the years but our goal has always been the same.
We aim to provide accurate and relevant information along with an honest analysis of market conditions. Through good times and bad we have tried to make this blog and web site a reliable source of Incline Village real estate information.
Sabrina joined the team 8 years ago and everything has been a collaborative effort since then. Starting in November she will be taking the lead on writing this blog with Don contributing from time to time. With wilderness and international travel on his agenda (pandemic permitting), Don’s new project is the web site he started in memory of his cat Spumoni. Now, onto this week’s blog and insights about the Incline Village real estate market.
Beautiful autumn weather blessed the Lake Tahoe basin last week making it easy for buyers to come up and check out the properties for sale. The action was modest by 2020 standards but excellent from a historical perspective with 11 properties going into escrow and 20 places closing escrow. Rounding out the action were 16 new listings and four price changes. It was nice to see more new listings than properties going under contract for once.
Among those new listings worth checking out before it slips away is Sabrina’s latest offering at 980 Jennifer St. priced at $2.5 million. Mountain elegant is the best way to describe this three-bedroom, 2.5 bath, 3500+ square-foot home in a gorgeous woodsy setting. You’ll find soaring Cathedral ceilings and enormous windows letting in tons of natural light. Enjoy the hot tub on the deck while you gaze up at the starlit sky. Beautiful finishes throughout makes this one worth a look. Click Here to See a Virtual Tour
Buyers looking for a reasonably priced property with a garage may wish to check out 771 Titlist Dr. #2. This three-bedroom, three bath, nearly 1200 square-foot condo is in a quiet woodsy setting close to the Mountain Golf Course. Upgrades include a new roof, new windows and new carpet. This is one of the lower priced places you’re going to see with a garage at the asking price of $625,000.
