As we enter the last third of September, the Incline Village real estate market continues to hum along nicely. Even smoky skies could not keep the buyers away as we saw 16 properties go into escrow last week. Throw in 19 new listings along with four price changes and 24 properties closing escrow to round things out. Super luxury buyers sat on the sidelines last week with the most expensive property going under contract just a smidgen under $3 million.
There is one new listing at low elevation that catches our eye. #96 Racquet Club sits in one of the best locations in the complex. This end unit is tucked away in a corner near a year-round creek. It’s also the largest floor plan in the complex at 1649 ft.².

The inventory continues to hover at a very low level with under 80 houses, condos and freestanding condos listed for sale. The Incline Village real estate market is still experiencing very strong demand as we make our way into autumn. Buyers will need to remain nimble as the most desirable properties continue to get snapped up quickly.
It looks like the weather pattern might be changing this week and we could see clearer skies in the Lake Tahoe basin. However, the central and southern Sierra continue to be plagued by smoke from the Creek Fire. Unfortunately, that fire is situated in very rugged terrain and it’s going to be extremely difficult to get containment on the East side.
