Spring has arrived in the Sierras at least temporarily and that’s generally good news for the Incline Village real estate market. Having sunny clear days makes it a lot easier for buyers to analyze a property especially if it’s a place with a view. It also makes the drive in the mountains much more pleasant. Combine that with the beautiful snow-covered peaks and the gorgeous blue water for what is one of the most stunning sites in the world.
It was a rather interesting week for the Incline Village real estate scene. There were four new listings, two price changes and five properties went into escrow but nothing closed escrow. Considering there are currently over 30 properties in escrow it was rather unusual for nothing to close. Whether this is just a statistical anomaly or some transactions got delayed for unknown reasons is a matter for conjecture.
Don is still at his condo in Utah enjoying the beautiful red rock scenery. Even though both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are still closed, there is plenty of National Forest and BLM land to enjoy. So, we’ve modified the links below for this week and since there are no closed escrows you’ve got a link to check out Don’s condo in Moab.
There is one new listing on the Incline Village MLS that we find rather intriguing. The old adage about location, location, location being the three most important things in real estate brings to mind the latest offering in McCloud. #147 is situated in the group closest to the beach in a nice private setting backing up to open space. Priced at $715,000 this is a very nicely remodeled two-bedroom, two bath, 1089 square-foot lower unit. When you walk out the French doors onto the rear deck it gives you an appreciation for just how special this location is.
