As a local realtor and proud member of the Incline Village community, I know firsthand that our town isn’t just a place to live—it’s a place to savor. One of my favorite ways to enjoy summer here is by dining outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada. Whether you’re a long-time resident or just visiting, these local spots offer the perfect blend of great food, fresh air, and that special Tahoe charm.
Nestled right in the heart of our community, Sage Leaf is a true neighborhood treasure. Their cozy patio, shaded by towering pines, is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee, a leisurely brunch, dinner or a glass of wine with friends. The menu changes with the seasons, showcasing the freshest ingredients, and the laid-back vibe feels like a natural extension of the Tahoe lifestyle we all love. Insider tip: check out their happy hour at the bar.
If you’re looking for a mix of mountain-modern style and comfort food, Rosewood Tahoe is a must-visit. Their spacious patio is a favorite for everything from sunny lunches to romantic dinners under twinkle lights. It’s a great spot to bring friends or celebrate a special occasion, especially with one of their signature cocktails in hand. As someone who loves connecting with neighbors, I often run into familiar faces here!
The Soule Domain offers a dining experience that feels like a secret escape, with tables surrounded by blooming flowers and forest greenery. Their globally inspired menu is perfect for a special night out, and the warm hospitality makes it feel like you’re dining with family. This hidden gem near the state line is a personal favorite for its intimate garden seating, and as it is located next door to Inside Incline's California office.
For something a little different, Smoke Door | Lake Tahoe Saryo in the new Bowl Incline complex is a foodie’s dream. Their Japanese-inspired open-fire menu is as unique as it is delicious, and the sleek outdoor seating area is a great place to soak in the mountain air. Whether you’re a design lover or just looking for a new favorite dish, this spot delivers.
As a longtime local, I can’t leave out Crosby’s Tavern & Gaming—a true Incline Village classic. Their outdoor patio is perfect for a casual lunch or happy hour with friends. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a burger, a cold brew, and a game on TV, all while taking in the mountain views. It’s family-friendly, laid-back, and quintessentially Tahoe.
For those on the go, Sunshine Deli is a local staple. Their outdoor patio is a great spot to enjoy one of their famous breakfast burritos or a quick sandwich after a day on the lake. It’s simple, no-fuss, and always hits the spot—perfect for fueling up before a hike or winding down after paddle boarding. Insider Tip: Sunshine offers easy and excellent catering for meetings and large groups.
If you’re looking for a more upscale experience, The Grille at the Chateau on the Championship Golf Course is a standout. With breathtaking views of the golf course and Lake Tahoe, their seasonal deck is a favorite for weddings, special events, and summer evenings. When it’s open to the public, it’s one of the most scenic dining spots in town—perfect for a sunset dinner you won’t forget. This summer they're open for dinner on the weekends, with an exciting new menu.
For a touch of elegance paired with unbeatable lake views, Osteria at Sierra at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe is a must-visit. Their patio offers a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying Italian-inspired dishes crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Whether it’s a romantic dinner or a celebratory meal with friends, the combination of fine dining and the serene backdrop of Lake Tahoe makes this spot truly special. Don’t miss their curated wine list—it’s the perfect complement to a summer evening under the stars.
For toes-in-the-sand dining, Incline Beach and Burnt Cedar Beach serve up classic beach fare and refreshing cocktails—perfect for a laid-back lunch or sunset sip just steps from the water.
